It was a morning filled with excitement at Little Bodhi Student Care. Our premise at Marsiling was buzzing with activities on the quiet Saturday morning as teachers and students put final touches to their performances. The children were just so eager to show their talents to parents and guests at the Year End Bursary Award Function.
The function marks the end of another fruitful year for Little Bodhi as we moved into our 12th year of operations in 2013.The event is also an opportunity for our management and staff to interact and bond with the parents and students with the centre.
In early 2002, our centre opens its doors as the largest Student Care Centre in Woodlands precinct dedicating to serving the community with quality and affordable student care services. Every year end, our centre will also give out bursary awards to deserving students for lower income families. This year, 5 of our students make the mark to receive the awards from our management.
After enjoying the songs and dance performances by our students and sharing the joy of the bursary award recipients, guest and parents were treated to a sumptuous buffet lunch of local delights. Students from the Nanyang Technological University Buddhist Society were also present to help out and share our joy.
It was indeed a wonderful year end closure for the Little Bodhi family. We look forward to a more exciting 2013 and wish everyone a fruitful year ahead.
